Warranty Policy

We offer a 12 Month Repair or Replacement Warranty on our products, unless where otherwise specifically specified in the product description or below. In most cases, will require the product to be returned to us for the warranty claim, where we will determine if the product can be repaired or if it will require a full replacement. All eligible Warranty Claims must be returned to us for testing and inspection to begin a claim. 

For approved Warranty Claims placed within 60 Days of purchase: A Return label will be supplied via email.

For approved Warranty Claims placed outside of 60 Days of purchase: A Return label will be not be supplied.

For products found to have a manufacturing fault: The product will be repaired/replaced as required by a Switch Boss technician. The product will be returned to the customer, with Switch Boss supplying the postage cost.

For products found to NOT have a manufacturing fault: Switch Boss staff will advise and assist the customer, where possible, to determine other reasons for the fault, outside of the product. This could be install, wiring, connections, use etc.. The customer will be liable for the return postage cost, set at $9.95 inc GST.

Warranty cover does not include damage caused by accidents, misuse, lack of maintenance, neglect, natural disaster, or other external causes; to damage caused by operating the equipment in a manner outside that described in the instructions. The warranty is considered void if the item has been modified, disassembled or tampered with, outside of specific instruction from an employee of Switch Boss Pty Ltd.

Warranty Claims will be void for:

• Returned items that failed due to an accident, purchaser’s abuse or neglect.
• Returned items that failed due to incorrect voltage, load or improper wiring.
• Returned items that failed due to rain, excessive humidity, corrosive environments or other contaminants.
• Any item damaged in return shipment.
• Any product failure caused by installing or operating product under conditions not in accordance with installation and operation guidelines or damaged by contact with tools or surroundings.
• Returned items with cosmetic defects that do not interfere with product functionality.
• Returned items that are incomplete, worn or damaged.
• Should the customer wish to have the product returned to them, where a fault is NOT found or the claim is void, a $9.95 return postage cost will be payable.

For products/orders advised as Damaged In Transit, Damaged On Receipt, or similar: We pack orders to the highest standard to avoid the risk of damage during transit, however, we understand external environment factors and process relating to logistics movements always pose a risk to our packages and their physical condition. For this reason, we have insurance coverage on all our consignments dispatched from our warehouse in Tingalpa.

For consignments advised of any transit damage - please advise us within 24 hours of receipt, indicated by tracking information, with imagery of the product concerned and packaging. If we can determine via this imagery (and imagery supplied by the delivery party via Proof Of Delivery image), this is transit damage, we may be able to replace this without the need for claim or return. For transit damage advised of outside of 24 hours of receipt, we must process a full Warranty Claim, to determine the damage.

If you wish to make a Warranty Claim, please download and complete our Warranty Claim form and email us at sales@switchboss.com.au as soon as possible with your issue and evidence of fault/failure, so we can assist further. 

Please do not return any items until the Warranty Claim has been approved by a Switch Boss staff member.
