Returns and Refunds

We must be notified of all returns prior to receipt, and they must be sent back with our RETURNS form.

Any returns received without notification, approval and/or a RETURNS form will not be processed.

We offer a 30 Day Returns option for all items that meet the below criteria. To see if you are eligible, please check below:

We must be notified within 30 days of you receiving the item that you intend to return it. The item must then be returned within 7 days following this notification. The act of returning a purchased item will be seen as an agreement of the following Terms:

- Switch Boss reserves the right to refuse the return of any purchase for reasons including (but no limited too): damaged product, acts of fraud, violation of Terms and Conditions of sale, outside of valid return period, invalid postal method, Pay On Delivery charge, or Return To Sender charges as receiver.

- We must be notified of all returns via email prior to and product(s) being returned to us. Failure to notify us of intend to return will void any refund processing. Switch Boss will not accept the return of any item/s without prior contact and approval to send back the items.

- The item must be returned in original re-saleable condition with all tags and packaging (ready to be put back on the shelf)

- The item has not been fitted, or show any fitment/installation scratches or witness marks

- The item/s are NOT opened, used, worn or damaged, and are in perfect condition when we receive them back 

- That you DO NOT stick or write anything on the item itself or its packaging. Please only write or place postage stickers on the outer postage packaging.

- The item is securely packed to ensure it is received back by us in original and re-salable condition.

- It is highly recommended to send the return parcel with tracking, as Switch Boss (as the receiver), cannot be responsible for the correct delivery of returned parcels.

- All returns postage charges must be covered by the buyer. Switch Boss does not supply or cover any return post charges.

- We cannot accept any returns for custom items, custom orders, products that were customised from originally stocked item, modified products or special order purchases. This includes custom laser etched units and custom assembled Rocker Switches.

- We cannot accept any Change of Mind, Purchased Incorrect Item, No Longer Needed or for reasons of a similar notation, for International Orders 

- We do not accept any delivery charges as part of a purchase being returned. This includes, but not limited too, Cash on Delivery charges, Return to Sender charges, Parcel Return Charges, Undersized/Underpaid Return charges.

- The refund amount will also have a Restocking Fee* deducted. If the item was originally sent with Free Shipping, it will be processed with the following restocking fee* deducted - $3.50 for Untracked Orders, $8.95 for parcels <1kg, $14 for parcels >1kg. Restocking Fee* does not apply to orders purchased with Express postage option, however any shipping charges will not be refunded. For all intents and purposes, this is referred to as our Restocking Fee*.

- Restocking Fee* will be waived, or waived in part, if partial order returns are received (i.e. 1 item returned from an order of 3 items). 

- If the item has sustained damage in return transit, or does not return as noted above, a revised refund amount may be required.

- Our Customer Service Department will review your email and, advise you on the steps required to return a purchase.

- Please allow 2-3 business days for Returns to be processed once received. This includes the time to test and restock the item.

- Please ensure the return parcel includes, Full Name and Returns form. Without all this information, we may not be able to process a Return.

- All items returned to us due to non-delivery (non-collection, no response, invalid delivery address) will be processed with the following restocking fee deducted to cover carrier return fees we incur - $2.50 for Untracked Orders, $8.95 for parcels <1kg, $14 for parcels >1kg. We do not have a resend option for any consignments returned to us.

*Restocking Fee: We have a restocking fee in place to cover our original postage costs, website processing and payment fees, dispatch labour and testing of returned item. Restocking Fee may be increased in case of damaged/missing/incorrectly returned items, to cover any additional costs. Restocking Fee will be waived, or waived in part, if partial order returns are received (ie. 1 item returned from an order of 3 items). This will be at the sole discretion of the Sales Manager at time of return processing.
